I started OBM in January of 2009 to finally put an official name for the freelance work that I’d been doing. I organize the Orlando WordPress Meetup, as well as WordCamp Orlando. Education is truly a passion of mine, as is crafting tools to allow for as simple an interaction between my clients and their websites as possible.
I enjoy wearing many hats: product designer, graphic designer, art director, project manager, head dog walker… the list goes on and on. That’s what I love about this job — no day is ever the same. Working with a small start-up one day is just as thrilling and challenging as working with a large global brand the next day.
WordPress and I have had a full-time relationship for a little over four years now. I went from building my own websites, bells, and whistles to building them for others. My specialty? Coding special features/plugins and making things easy for end-users.
I was making websites when HTML in notepad was a thing. Now I’ve shifted away from the back-end and focus on improving the content of websites. I create and market quality work at We Do Web Content as a web content writer and social media manager.
